Donkey milk : a creamy and soft aroma like a veil of fresh milk, with sweet and enveloping notes that caress the skin in a warm and comforting tenderness, evoking purity and ancestral care.

Made in Marseille with 72% vegetable oils (including olive oil). Gently cleanses, nourishes, and leaves skin feeling comfortable.

Suitable for daily use on body and hands. You can also use it on your face if you don't have sensitive, dehydrated, or dry skin. We use it for washing and as an air freshener in drawers, closets, or even on our nightstand.

🛁 This is how we use it

Instructions for use

  1. Moisten the solid with a touch of water.
  2. Create a lather by rubbing the soap between your hands or directly onto the area to be washed. Distribute the lather evenly over the area for optimal cleaning.
  3. Rinse with plenty of water.
Consejos y trucos
  • Leave the solid in asoap dishwith holes or a grid, or on a sisal bag – keep them clean, – it dries quickly, lasts twice as long and prevents mold.
  • Use asisal bagto get the most out of the solid: more lather and gentle, natural exfoliation.
  • Cut into pieces: If you're traveling, cut into 2-3 pieces – take one with you and the others will be waiting for you fresh at home.

For external use only. Do not ingest. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, and open wounds. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Check the appropriate age range for use. Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children.

¿Leyenda o secreto real?

  • La historia dice que Cleopatra se bañaba diariamente en leche de burra para mantener la piel suave, joven y radiante.
  • Se conoce que necesitaba a diario hasta 700 burras para llenar la bañera de la preciada leche, porque cada una da poquita leche (0.5 a 1.5 litros/día). Esta señora era una auténica deslechadora.
  • Ojo: fuentes históricas serias (como Plinio el Viejo) atribuyen los baños masivos a Popea (mujer de Nerón, unos 80 años después), y dudan de que Cleopatra lo hiciera de verdad. Pero la leyenda pegó tanto que todo el mundo la asocia con ella. Es mito con base real en los beneficios de la leche de burra.
  • Hipócrates, el padre de la medicina, ya recomendaba la leche de burra hace siglos para tratar diversas dolencias como reumatismo, problemas intestinales y para ayudar a la cicatrización, reconociendo su similitud con la leche materna y sus propiedades beneficiosas.
