Marseille soap 125g – Tradition and care.

Made in the Provence region (France) using the traditional method in kettles, this soap contains 72% vegetable oils , including olive oil, which ensures its effectiveness and natural softness.

This scented version is enriched with fragrances from Grasse , the world capital of perfume since the 17th century. Each bar offers a unique sensory experience. Available in floral, fruity, herbal, and skincare ranges, so you can find the perfect one for you. Discover them in our shop.

  1. Wet your skin and rub the bar gently until a light lather forms.
  2. Massage the area and rinse with plenty of water.
  • To prolong the life of the soap, let it dry in a soap dish that allows for good drainage.

The effectiveness of this soap is based on a balanced combination of plant-based ingredients.

Shea butter provides deep hydration and helps strengthen the barrier function, making it especially suitable for dry, sensitive, or tight skin. Coconut oil creates a soft, creamy lather that cleanses without stripping the skin's natural oils.

Tahitian Monoï—obtained by macerating Tiaré flowers in coconut oil—stands out for its soothing and nourishing action. Its high content of essential fatty acids helps improve elasticity and keep skin softer and more radiant.Brief history of (traditional) Marseille soap.

Medieval origins (13th century): In Marseille, soaps made from olive oil and vegetable soda began to be produced. The abundance of raw materials in the region (olive oil, salt from the Camargue) favored its expansion.

Royal regulation (1688): Colbert's edict, under Louis XIV, established strict rules: only pure vegetable oils, prohibition of animal fats, and cooking in large cauldrons. This gave Marseille soap its reputation for quality.

19th century – industrial boom: Marseille became the soap capital of France. In 1900, there were nearly 100 factories and in 1913, production reached 180,000 tons.

Modern times: With the arrival of synthetic detergents in the 20th century, the industry drastically declined. Today, only a few traditional factories keep the original recipe alive. Today, artisan soaps are considered luxury and traditional items.

Una pasada he flipado. Tengo el pelo medio ondulado y medio rizado, se me encrespa y me cuesta muchísimo peinarlo.
